Jacqueline Ray & Tom Selleck

Tom Selleck rose to fame thanks to his TV show, Magnum P.I. However, while his career was going full swing, his relationship with his first wife was getting troubled. Jacqueline Ray was a model and an actress herself before becoming Selleck’s wife. Ray did take on minor roles on TV and in a film like In Like Flint, and she was spotted in two episodes of Magnum P.I., But she eventually faded into the background until she resurfaced in 2007 for a Nickelodeon Show.

Some would say that she was lucky to get married to the 80s heartthrob, Tom Selleck, but his being a workaholic affected their relationship. Things would have been different if her husband put more investments into his marriage, but it can’t be helped to choose the latter with a career going full swing. The couple went on their way after 11 years. Although they did not have any children between them, Selleck adopted Ray’s child from her previous marriage.
