Kate Hudson was born to become a star, especially when her mother is Goldie Hawn herself. Raised by Hawn and her long-time partner and fellow actor, Kurt Russell, it is not surprising that Kate foregoes getting a degree in favor of acting. Her first taste of drama was when she appeared as a guest star in Party of Five. Her experience here pushed her to get more acting roles. It was her role in Almost Famous that sealed her career in Hollywood.

Hudson dated several guys with her personal life but was only married to the Black Crowes lead, Chris Robinson. The couple met in 2000 at a party that was held in New York City. Theirs was a whirlwind romance ending in marriage just seven months since they first met. They also had a son named Ryder, who was born in 2004. The couple eventually split but co-parented their son.
