Because of his athletic experience, he played a football player in the film Any Given Sunday. More film roles followed, culminating in his degree in the biopic Ray, which marked the pinnacle of his acting career. He is a Grammy Award-winning singer in addition to being a professional performer. He has five albums to his name, two of which have been certified platinum.
