Keith Richards was smitten when he first met Patti Hansen on the model’s 23rd birthday. The second time was on the rocker’s 36th birthday, where they simply clicked. For Richards, Hansen saved him from the darkest moments of his life, which he was quite thankful for. The couple dated for four years before they tied the knot in 1983. They have two daughters, Theodora and Alexandra.

The biggest obstacle that the couple faced was when Hansen was diagnosed with a chronic medical condition. Though they did not need any personal loans to cover their expenses, Hansen knew that she had to get better for the sake of her husband. Fortunately, the model did manage to survive her diagnosis. They are married for 37 years now, and they are just getting stronger day by day. For Richards, that first meeting with Hansen changed everything for him.
