Kim Novak & Robert Malloy

At the peak of her career, Kim Novak stole the hearts of several leading men in Hollywood like Jimmy Stewart, Kirk Douglas, and William Holden. The Vertigo actress called it quits from acting after a decade of a stellar career and shifted to being a visual artist and a poet at the same time. The actress revealed that arts had saved her from her bipolar disorder and helped her grieve after her husband, Robert Malloy, passed. They were married for 44 years.

When asked what the secret to their marriage was, Novak stated that her husband’s great sense of humor and their love of animals made them last that long. Aside from putting many investments into her artwork, the Picnic actress is also a published author. She recently released her book Kim Novak: Her Art and Life, which centered on her memories and paintings.
