Kyra Sedgwick & Kevin Bacon

Although actors Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick officially met while shooting the television movie Lemon Sky in 1988, they actually first talked in a restaurant years before. They ran into each other at a diner when the actress complimented his play performance. They started dating shortly after, and walked down the aisle in September 1988, when Bacon was 30 and Sedgwick was 23.

The Footloose actor recalled proposing to his wife on Christmas Eve 1987, where he put the ring in the Christmas stocking. Since marrying each other, the two had joint investments in several films, including Cavedweller, Pyrates, and Murder in the First. When asked about their marriage, Bacon honored his wife, saying, “Her partnership is invaluable. I found someone I was meant to be with.”  Sedgwick also told of her husband, “He is the person I count on to live.”
