LeBron James & Savannah Brinson

LeBron James first met Savannah Brinson while in school. James was 17 and a rising basketball giant in his hometown, Akron, Ohio. Brinson was a year younger and a cheerleader. They met each other at a game, and James asked a common friend to get her phone number. Brinson recalled that their first date was at a local steakhouse.

The high school sweethearts have now spent half their lives together and share three kids. Despite being together for such a long time, they only married on September 14, 2013, in San Diego. When the four-time NBA MVP signed a $154 million contract to join Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, the family hired a moving company to transfer to a $23 million L.A. mansion. In all of James’ highs and lows in the NBA, it’s clear that his wife will always be by his side.
