Warren Beatty | Bill – Kill Bill 1 and 2

This very talented actor and director holds the record for being nominated twice for writing, directing, and producing the same film two times—first with Heaven Can Wait and again with Reds. Many of his movies are Academy Awards nominees, with several critics describing Warren Beatty as the perfect producer.

Directing and producing are not the only skills he has in his arsenal, as he is also an excellent actor. When Quentin Tarantino was just exploring the area of martial arts films, he thought of Beatty playing the role of Bill in the Kill Bill movies. As Tarantino was finalizing the script, he realized that if Beatty were to play Bill, it could turn into a James Bond-like movie, which he didn’t like. David Carradine eventually landed the role and did beautifully with it to a great degree. Now, fans of both Tarantino and Beatty are still waiting on that collaboration between the two.
