Camila Cabello | Cuban, Mexican

Camila Cabello rose to a degree of stardom as a member of the girl group, Fifth Harmony. She was a notable member of the band, which formed while competing on the second season of The X Factor in 2012. Cabello’s most significant success came following her highly publicized separation from Fifth Harmony in 2017. Camila topped the Billboard 200, and Havana became her first solo number one song.

She has a strong voice, buoyant charm, and Latin roots. Cabello was born in Cojimar, Cuba, and relocated to Miami when she was six years old. She developed her passion for music while growing up in a Spanish-speaking setting with her Cuban mother and Mexican father. Cabello auditioned for The X Factor when she was 15 years old. After her elimination, Simon Cowell gathered the girls into a quintet, thus forming Fifth Harmony.
