Anthony Hopkins began his acting career on stage before moving into film in the late 1960s. Hopkins has been nominated for multiple Academy Awards, winning for The Silence of the Lambs, and The Father. He is known for various productions spanning from The Dawning to The Remains of the Day. Some of his film investments include Titus, The Mask of Zorro, and Westworld.Born in Margam, Port Talbot, Wales, Hopkins has always been drawn to the arts and creativity since he was a child.

His early years in Wales and schooling at Cowbridge Grammar School were relatively unremarkable, but the soon-to-be actor’s life would be profoundly altered when he met Richard Burton. Hopkins made his stage debut in 1960 after relocating to London. Laurence Olivier mentored him early in his career, and by the late 1960s, he had made the transition from theater to screen. Hopkins continued to act in film and on stage throughout the 1970s, earning critical acclaim for his versatility.
