Although many new shooters already include this mode, it’s safe to say that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds takes credit for making it as popular as it is today. A battle royale is practically a free-for-all. What sets them apart, however, is that a battle royale’s map area shrinks as the match progresses. This extra feature makes it all the more immersive and challenging, since the places you can hide in become lesser and lesser. Plus, since PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is free-to-play, the game is accessible to just about anyone.

With that said, one such game that has garnered a high degree of praise because of this is Minecraft. What makes it better is that you can play it with friends and other players alike! Throughout the game, Minecraft lets players do a variety of things, such as create impressive structures, travel its randomly-generated maps, and even fight off different types of monsters.
