To his credit, he has received numerous nominations for his performances of the two characters, including three Primetime Emmys and two Golden Globes. In addition, he has done some work on films, with appearances on the Wayne’s World series, The Bone Collector, Wreck-It Ralph, and Finding Dory. Aside from being a successful actor, he has also another achievement that many might not know about: being a black belter in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu.

O’Neill developed an interest in martial art when he was introduced to it by his friend John Milius in 1985. He spent 22 years training to master the art. Finally, in 2007, he received his black belt. While it is not the highest rank one can achieve in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, it is nonetheless an impressive feat, as it is quite high on its ranking system. O’Neill has said that his black belt is perhaps one of his greatest achievements in life.
